Voxtreme understands the need for high-performance hardware to serve websites. We use AMD Dual Opteron hardware with 2GB+ of RAM and SATA drives as the minimum specification for our web servers. We use high quality motherboards and chassis with excellent cooling ensuring the smooth running of all of our hardware.

Servers run on CentOS linux from versions 4.x onwards, using custom kernels tweaked for performance, security and stability. Web pages are serverd by a heavily tweaked Apache web server, again optimized for performance, security and stability. Servers are monitored carefully on a regular basis. Automatic checks of services occur every 2 minutes, with frequent manual audits of performance and security. Extensive notification systems ensure that system administrators are notified the minute something out of the ordinary occurs on a server.
